Weekend Spent Drawing II (Crayon)
This June I attended a weekend long
workshop with the goal of enabling my brain to be able to draw with a pencil
. From my point of view, it was great a success.
I got from „drawing simple diagrams“ to „drawing a portrait“. I really
liked it, so when my mother had invited me to join her on course focused on
drawing with crayons, I immediately accepted.
The course took place in Frýdek-Místek (in Místek to be exact). Saturday was focused on drawing with standard crayons and to teach us the theory and practice of mixing and blending colours. Drawing with crayons is all about colours, it more relaxed in actual shapes and shading than drawing with pencil had been.

My version of tulips (acrylic crayon)
On Sunday we got another set of crayons – the acrylic ones. It looks like a crayon, it draws like a crayon (probably also tastes like one), but you can blur it using brush and water. The result (see the gallery) seems more like painting than drawing.
After two days of doing something totally different from what I usually do, I felt exhausted. But it was pretty much worth it and I am again looking forward to attend another workshop like this.
Weekend Spent Drawing
Last weekend I attended a workshop that was focused on drawing with pencil.
I had decided to try it, because I had never been able to draw something more
complicated than boxes and diagrams .
The workshop was split into two days, 8 hours each. On the first day we were given a random photograph (portrait) and were asked to draw it. This task assessed our current level of drawing skill. Mine was, without surprise, quite low. By doing various exercises, we learned how to choose and hold a pencil properly, how to do shades and much more.

My first drawing – Audrey Hepburn
The second day was dedicated to our final drawing. From all the options I chose a portrait of my favourite actress Audrey Hepburn. You can see the result for yourselves on the picture above. I was very surprised, how it ended up. I really enjoyed the weekend and got motivated to draw at home and improve. If it goes well and stays enjoyable, I will for sure attend another workshop.
Go karting with RAYNET people
My friend and co-worker Aleš is getting married very soon, so this Monday he
organised a small party. Food and drinks were present in a great quantity, but
the main attraction were certainly the go karts .

I was a racer, at least for a while
We all raced a lot: from the careful beginnings to the aggressive collisions in the end, when drivers were fuelled with beer and home-mode Slivovice. The party was awesome, definitely a success. Thanks again, Aleš.
PF 2010
I wish everybody Merry Christmas and happy new year full of luck, love and
happiness .

Merry Christmas
I wish merry Christmas, good luck and health, lot of presents and good mood
to everyone! Happy new year 2009 .

The Game: IWBTG
I Wanna Be the Guy (or short title, IWBTG), is a classical platform game. The thing that makes it exceptional is its difficulty. I think it is the most difficult and challenging game I have ever played.
It will certainly train your reflexes, movement coordination and the most,
your patience. If you play it, there will be some situations when you
will want to eat your keyboard or throw your computer out of the window, I can
guarantee you that .
The game is difficult, but also addictive. I think that if you can manage to go through the first two screens (if you go up in the beginning), you have the skill to continue. You can download the game for free on this site: http://kayin.pyoko.org/iwbtg/.
Enjoy.
Hot Dog Bush
My friend send me this
game today. You are playing George Bush, who was kicked out from the White
House and opened a hot-dog stand . Can you be the best seller?
For me it was fun to play it, although it was very hard in the end.
